TITLE: Assistant Store Manager
DEPARTMENT: Retail - Cincinnati Market
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH
REPORTS TO: Regional Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists store manager in answering phones and dealing with customers. Is responsible for the store when manager is off premises.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. -Works with tire techs in installation of tires and pulling tires. -Prepares daily warehouse orders for tires/parts when necessary. -Responsible for closing the store on nights and Saturdays, including deposit, running reports and paperwork. -Assists in preparing the store for inventory. -Responsible for maintaining an orderly condition in the shop and office. -Follows all company safety requirements and governmental safety regulations, including the use of protective equipment. -Assists the safety director and store manager in enforcement of protective equipment requirements and safety procedures for shop personnel. -Reports all cases of work-related injuries and vehicle damage to the store manager and to the safety director immediately; assists in incident analysis and completion of injury/damage reports when necessary. -Performs other tasks as determined by the store manager. -Supervises all store employees when the store manager is not available.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
College or university degree; or one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
